Despite the increasing number of political activities across borders, the state remains a key political actor. Rather, the power of the state is being reorganized in interactions with international organizations, global norms, and transnational networks rather than disappearing.
Political globalization proceeds simultaneously in various areas. Examples include changes in the world order, the spread of universal norms such as human rights, and the expansion of international organizations and civil society networks.
This trend does not make politics disappear, but changes the structure and method in which it is conducted. In other words, political power is still maintained, but it is working in a much more complex and closely connected form than before.

What was particularly interesting was the fact that political power was no longer tied to a specific territory.
Political activity was primarily carried out within the boundaries of the nation-state in the past, but today political influence is formed and moved beyond the state in a network of international and non-governmental organizations.
Another impressive point is that globalization does not completely eliminate the meaning of borders. The movement of people, information, and goods is much freer than before, but the state still maintains strong control over areas related to security, migration issues, and identity.
This shows that borders are working in a different way than they are gone. In addition, it is noteworthy that the impact of global norms such as human rights on domestic politics is growing.
Although laws are still made at the national level, international standards are used as important reference points in actual policy-making and political judgment processes.

3. Concerns and Problems

Despite these changes, political globalization has several problems. One of the biggest problems is inequality between countries.
While powerful countries exert great influence in the process of making international rules, weaker countries are difficult to speak out in global decision-making.
The democracy of international organizations is also an important issue. It is believed that there are remnants of a structure in which a small number of powerful countries lead decision-making in international organizations such as the United Nations and the WTO.
This fact raises questions about the democracy and fairness of international organizations. These problems clearly show the potential to strengthen the influence of some countries and reinforce existing power imbalances.

This awareness of the problem leads to some debate questions. How can international organizations change into a more democratic and inclusive structure? What influence can smaller countries actually have in global politics? Also, how should political power be distributed between the state and the global network? The process of discussing these questions will help us gain a deeper understanding of the limitations and possibilities of political globalization.

Globalization and politics are closely linked, but one side cannot be viewed as weakening the other. Globalization changes the structure of political power through the expansion of international cooperation, the formation of common norms, and the growth of transnational networks.
At the same time, the nation-state is still functioning as a key player in the political system. Therefore, it is reasonable to understand globalization as a process in which the way political power is formed and operated is reorganized, not a phenomenon in which politics is declining. This perspective has important implications for analyzing today's global political order.
