What is the relation between economy and globalization? - Minjoo Kim
1. Summary
The relationship between economy and globalization is indispensable. As trade, investment, and financial markets expand, globalization is promoted, and as globalization progresses, the economic interdependence between countries increases. As a result, competition intensifies and international capital moves actively.
2. My thought
I think some laws and regulations are needed because of this relationship. This is to prevent excessive competition or a series of bankruptcies due to the economy of other countries. That's why I think the FTA exists, and I think it's actually very helpful. Industries that already have FTA provisions could avoid major damage, even in the situation where former President Trump recently moved each country up and down while adjusting tariff provisions.
3.Discussion
Which of the laws do you think is good to make the international economic industry this good?

I read your post with interest, especially the way you clearly explained the mutual reinforcement between the economy and globalization. I also agreed with your point that legal frameworks such as FTAs are necessary to prevent excessive competition and economic instability across countries. The example of tariff adjustments helped make your argument more concrete, and your discussion question opens up an important debate about which international regulations can best balance openness and protection in the global economy.
